Josephson's Smokehouse, an Astoria family business, is nearby.
“I appreciate the Victorian bones of the place, cleverly updated with microwaves, fridges and Keurig machines; the thoughtful mix of old and new makes for a comfortable stay, even if rooms lean toward cozy. Its location, a manageable walk from town, offers peeks of the Columbia River, best enjoyed from a clawfoot tub or while contemplating the house's alleged haunted vibe.”
