Hotel Morabeza offers 88 rooms and 33 suites, each with a terrace or balcony. Accommodations are decorated in a simple style. Options include Standard Rooms with single or double beds, Executive Rooms in the adults-only area overlooking a swimming pool, and Junior Suites. Family Suites feature two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room, with garden or sea views. Master Suites include a bedroom and living room. Executive Suites have two balconies. The Suite Palmier Seaside features a separate living room and ocean views. All rooms include: air conditioning, a private entrance, a bathroom with a shower or bathtub and bidet, a hairdryer, a telephone, a television, a mini-refrigerator, an electronic safe, a ceiling fan, a kettle, complimentary tea and coffee, and free Wireless Internet access. Baby cots are available upon request.
Dining Choices
Hotel Morabeza features multiple dining options. Buffet breakfast includes fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, cheese, ham, breads, pastries, pancakes, jams, fruit juices, and eggs. The Beach Club offers seafood and grilled dishes (Service à-la-carte Open daily from 12:30pm to 3pm) and a children's menu. Les Palmiers restaurant (Service à-la-carte Open daily from 7:00pm to 10:00pm) serves international, grill/bbq, and local cuisine, with vegetarian options and a children's menu. Bar Tortue is open from 6:00 pm till midnight. A varied daily menu is offered to the half-board clients. A Cape Verdean buffet including Cape Verdean specialties, a local musical group, traditional dance demonstration, craftsmen' exhibitions... and a free caipirinha to all our guests is offered on Saturdays. Aquarius is a beach bar with cocktails.
Leisure Facilities
Hotel Morabeza provides access to sports and recreation facilities, including 2 swimming pools and 2 tennis courts. Guests can make use of a fitness course, gymnasium, archery range, mini golf, snooker table, table tennis, and darts. Two yoga classes per week are led by instructor Vatu. The Nativa Spa provides body and facial treatments. The hotel houses the Scubateam Diving Centre for boat departures and access to dive sites. Zebrajet jet ski center is also available. Hotel Morabeza supports Cape Verdean music, with live bands performing mornas and coladeiras several evenings a week. On Wednesdays and Sundays from 09:30 pm, alternately Charles Marcellesi (vocals and guitar) & Marisa (vocals) animate the Tortue bar along with Djoy Fortes (piano) and Panota (Saxo). Local dancers entertain on Saturday dinners.
