Deluxe Rooms (35 m²) can accommodate up to 4 guests, available in two variants: one with a double bed, a single bed, and a sofa bed, or one with a double bed and a double sofa bed, with views to the Old Town or the side street. Classic Twin Rooms have two separate single beds (90x200 cm). The Attic Room features two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with a single bed, and two bathrooms. Family Suites are equipped with a double bed, a sofa bed, two single beds, and two bathrooms. Small Twin Rooms, ideal for short stays, feature two single beds. Classic Single Rooms offer a single bed (90x200 cm), and Mini Single Rooms provide compact spaces.
Dining at Mondschein
The breakfast buffet includes local and regional products from Tyrol, such as coffee beans from a local roaster (Nosko), cheese and ham from the Zillertal valley, and organic teas from Sonnentor company. Scrambled eggs are freshly prepared with free-range eggs. Gluten-free bread, lactose-free milk, hummus, and vegan spreads are available. The Innside Pils Pub offers local beers, fine wines, and creative cocktails, including freshly tapped Pils from Zillertal Bier. It is set in a renovated cellar vault.
Leisure and Activities
Guests can visit the alpine zoo, the Imperial Gardens, and the Innsbruck Promenade Concerts. Bicycles can be rented at Die Börse, about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Bikeschool-Innsbruck provides guided sightseeing tours. The Welcome Card, provided with a minimum 2-night stay, includes free use of public transport and access to cable cars.
Location and Transport
Hotel Mondschein is located in Innenstadt, next to the Old Town, and close to the Golden Roof and Imperial Palace. Innsbruck Congress is a 5-minute walk, the university is 10 minutes, and the train station is 20 minutes away. The hotel is near the Nordkette Cable Cars. Innsbruck Airport (INN) is nearby. The hotel provides parking in a garage for EUR 12.00 per night. Discounted parking tickets for the Altstadtgarage are available for EUR 15.00/24 hours.
