The hotel is very close to the metro station.. I found the 24-hour reception helpful. Staff members were friendly and courteous. I appreciated the location near Gare De L'Est, a short walk to Gare du Nord.
The room was small, so it felt a little cramped.

The room had an oriental feel. The colors were soothing and the toilet was nicely renovated too. The hotel changed the toilet mat and did the sheets every day, despite us not requesting room service.

fluctuating water pressureunclean toilet
the bathroom was a real letdown, the water pressure fluctuated wildly from scalding hot to freezing cold. it was difficult to get a consistent temperature. the toilet didn't seem very clean and it flooded after each flush. i didn't find the bathroom matched the images advertised.

the hotel is conveniently near the metro exit. the staff, especially farid, are very helpful and speak english fluently (always a plus!). i found the room clean with fresh towels.
the street was somewhat noisy, making it a little difficult to sleep at night.
