Acceptable stay with a significant noise issue

Breakfast was quite good with plenty of choices, which I found to be an advantage.
The noise isolation was a serious problem. The hotel faces a busy street, so even with the windows closed, the noise was very loud. It sounded like the windows were wide open, and this definitely needs improvement. I really struggled to get any sleep.

An Acceptable Stay with a Couple of Hiccups

unreliable shower knob key policy
The staff was very friendly, always positive and with a smiley face.
Unfortunately, the rooms are not exactly like they are in the pictures. I found that disappointing. More importantly, they require you to leave the key when exiting the room. I did not like the shower knob. It did not work properly.

wonderful stay in the city

helpful staff easy access
the staff was friendly and helpful (i especially appreciated their tips on local eateries). the location was excellent with easy access to public transport. buses and trams stopped just outside the hotel. i found it easy to explore the area.
i found the soundproofing wasn't great. i could hear street noise even with the windows closed. it.
