the location near the lake was acceptable.
the room lacked a refrigerator. it seems unusual for a hotel of this supposed caliber to omit such a basic amenity. i expected more for the price.

charming lakeside retreat
prompt room walk-in shower skilled service welcome improvement
I appreciated the prompt room change to the adjacent speranza building. the new room featured a walk-in shower. It was a welcome improvement. every staff member delivered friendly and skilled service . It made a difference.
The air conditioning required activation upon request. it was a minor inconvenience. it was resolved quickly. this did not overshadow the quality of my visit, though.

dated room significant noise
The receptionist was helpful. That was acceptable.
The room was quite dated. It seemed like stepping back in time. the noise from neighboring rooms was significant. I could hear every flush and conversation, and it. the lack of soundproofing was a major disappointment.

fantastic stay in central location!
excellent location ferry dock bus stop
the hotel's location was excellent. it was right across from the ferry dock. the bus stop to lake orso was directly in front, a big plus. i appreciated the short 10-15 minute walk to the train station.
the noise isolation was not ideal. i could hear sounds from other rooms and the street very clearly. this made it a little difficult to fully relax.

Fantastic Lakeside Stay!

The room I had was a Double or Twin Room Lake View and it featured AMAZING views! The room was well-appointed. Breakfast was generous and had many options including bread, cheese, meat, fruit and yogurt. The staff was very helpful when I needed information.

The hotel provides access to a swimming pool at a nearby partner hotel. The hotel is located near the main square and ferry terminal. I found the hotel to be very clean and located right in the center of town.

The staff members were friendly and always ready to help with requests. They acted promptly and gave copious amounts of cleaner to fix a smell reported to management. The breakfast room overlooks the lake. Such a great way to start the day!

dirty bidet water accumulation
The breakfast was acceptable.
The bathroom was not clean at all. I found faeces on the bidet. The shower basin did not drain properly, which resulted in water accumulation. I found the condition inexcusable!!!
