Meson Panza Verde features twelve rooms: nine uniquely decorated suites and three double rooms. Some suites feature a fireplace, a spa bath, a balcony with garden views, a tea and coffee maker, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. One suite has a king-size bed under a cupola with views of Volcan Agua and the hotel's north garden. Another offers a choice between a king bed or twin beds, a table/dresser, and a Moroccan-style fireplace, with a Spanish balcony facing climbing vines and flowers. Meson Panza Verde restaurant represents a contemporary Guatemala, blending historic traditions with culinary fusions. The restaurant has received the Medal de Oro award. Guests can enjoy dining in La Cueva, a homey living room with an antique bar from Havana, where live music is performed on certain nights. La Sala, the main dining room, can accommodate private dinner parties or conferences for up to 40 guests and includes an adjoining bar with overstuffed seating and a fireplace. Chef Noé Sican and team can create custom menus for events. There are also three terraces with views of the volcanoes and Antigua's tiled roofs. A small private art gallery on the second floor is available for romantic dinners. You can enjoy a cocktail party before dinner in one of two dining rooms. A stone courtyard with a fountain features six circular green marble tables and umbrellas.
Leisure and Relaxation
The Gallery, located at the top of a stone staircase, hosts monthly art exhibits and daily yoga classes. Guests can relax in The Lounge, centered around a stone fireplace and baby grand piano. The hotel includes a lush garden with a lion head stone fountain and stone bench. Enjoy a flagstone patio with a fountain containing porcelana, bougainvillea, and outdoor furniture with a hand-painted wrought iron and tile table.
