the hotel staff was amazingly friendly to me. breakfast was a highlight and included a lot of choices. my room had modern features with personal attention to detail, a very clean space.

my room faced the front of the building, and the sound isolation was not so good. the street outside was noisy throughout the day and night, i noticed. this made sleeping difficult, particularly on the lower floors.

The building had a great location near the main attractions. Free coffee and cake were available at 5 pm. It was very nice.

The windows in my room had poor sound isolation. The street noise made sleeping difficult.

wonderful Stay

warm welcome spacious room excellent breakfast convenient location

the staff welcomed us warmly and offered great assistance i enjoyed the spacious superior double room with its fine view from the roof. breakfast included many choices and was very good the afternoon tea, coffee, and cakes were a definite plus. the hotel's location near the castle made it easy to explore plus several nice restaurants were very close.

the street-facing rooms had poor sound isolation from the windows i heard a lot of noise from traffic including cars, buses, and trucks. it was somewhat difficult to sleep in the room particularly at night.

the hotel has an excellent location making it easy to reach many places the cathedral and são jorge castle are very close by. i was also close to the tagus river and several public squares. the location allowed easy access to public elevators.

Excellent experience in historical building

convenient location luxurious service

I found the location very convenient. The complimentary coffee and cakes in the 2nd-floor Living Room pleased me after long exploration days. I appreciated the availability of a space to gather, similar to an apartment, with luxurious hotel services. The service, cleanliness, and security are really good.

My room windows did not provide sufficient sound isolation. Street noise was quite disruptive due to heavy traffic.
