lovely days in historic place

I found the location very central to everything. Independent shops were close. i had such a delicious breakfast too. staff showed a very cute attitude. the room had everything i needed and was clean.

toast presentation ignored instruction
The room was clean. I suppose that's the bare minimum one expects.
the breakfast was an absolute disaster. i ordered eggs with toast, simple enough, you'd think. it arrived with the eggs directly ON the toast. honestly, the audacity. the waitress said the chef must have just ignored the instructions.

The location is great. It is in the centre of town. the breakfast was fabulous. hotel reception registered my car for a free parking permit for the duration of my stay (i didn't need to put anything in the car).
the stairs were a killer. the room was small with no storage. the sink in the bathroom was minute.
