road noise extra payment
The room faced the road. People screamed outside until late at night. It was annoying. I asked to move to a quieter room. I had to pay extra for it! It seemed unfair since the noise was beyond my control. They did not offer any help, apology, or follow up.

sea view tea facility fresh towels
during a weeklong visit, i enjoyed a superior double room sea view. the room included tea and coffee facilities. a fridge. housekeeping cleaned the room daily and provided fresh towels. the shower was spacious, it had good water pressure.
the hotel charged a small fee for ice at the pool bar.

the hotel sits directly on the harbour front, which makes for easy access to boat trips. there are many shops nearby that sell beach essentials and souvenirs. several restaurants are within a short walk, they offer various cuisines.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. I enjoyed the air conditioning, particularly as the weather was hot. A fridge and free safe in the room provided added convenience. The pool area felt very cute..
The room walls were quite thin. I could hear the neighbors next door.

The room had a free safe. It was much bigger than any I have seen before. I found the balcony to be a great size with a mountain view.
The pool area wasn't big enough for the number of guests, though I know it's difficult to manage the space.

a mixed stay by the sea
constant hum uninterested staff
the room i had initially booked did not meet expectations. there was a constant low-frequency hum from machinery nearby, difficult to sleep. i asked about moving, but i was told there were no other rooms available (which i found hard to believe given the occupancy). the overall impression i got was that the staff were uninterested in resolving guest issues.
