The beautiful room I booked was a bit of a letdown. The furniture seemed REALLY outdated, and the shower had barely any water pressure. It felt more like a gentle drip than a proper shower. I expected better for the price i paid. breakfast tasted cheap, so I went elsewhere the next day. IT was just not good.

I found the location super convenient, especially its closeness to both the train and coach stations. the warm, friendly service i received was good, the young man at reception was so cute (i really appreciated his help). i also appreciated thoughtful touches. My room was ready even though i arrived a bit early. he also made sure my room had a bath as i requested.

the rooms have zero soundproofing. i could clearly hear conversations in the neighboring room.

the hotel is a few minutes from good restaurants. it's also about ten minutes walk to the station. manor park is a short walk, bringing you to the esplanade.

The room seemed clean initially. there was a layer of dust on the headboard. I also found old paperwork shoved in the closet.
