Malagas Hotel is located on the banks of the Breede River in Malgas, 280km from Cape Town. Take the N2 from Cape Town over Sir Lowry's Pass towards Caledon. Follow the gravel road for 38km. The hotel overlooks the 'Ferry' on the western side of the Breede River in the St Sebastian Bay. Nearby attractions include the Breede River, known for fishing, and the Lower Breede River Conservancy area, which attracts a vast diversity of bird life, including the Protected Blue Crane. The neighboring marine reserve extends 5km out to sea and is one of the largest marine protected areas in Africa. Other nearby destinations include Witsand and Infanta.
