Excellent Stay by the Waterway

professional staff iron service waterway location

The staff was professional and easy to communicate with. We needed an iron and ironing board, so the lady at reception brought them quickly. The hotel's location is right next to De Waterweg. This is perfect for those interested in ships. The breakfast food had very good choices too.

I thought a choice of pillow would have been welcome.

The food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable (i slept well!).

i paid extra for a larger room. Unfortunately, my room looked a lot like a prison cell. A skylight replaced a normal window.

understocked buffet narrow window covering

I found a few things disappointing. the breakfast buffet seemed understocked quite early. By 9 am, many items like bread and fruit were gone. also, i noticed some hairs in the shower from previous guests, which wasn't ideal. the window covering in my room was too narrow and let light in.
