the location was convenient to town. the breakfast hamper was substantial. warm croissants were a great delight. the room was clean with good quality furnishings.

upon arrival, there was no welcome, and just a code for the door into an empty house. our superior double room was on the second floor. a steep staircase faced us with no help with our case. the shower room was very basic with a loo that did not always flush.

I loved the selection of fresh fruit and pastries. the kitchen access for toast, milk, and water refills proved convenient, especially with wine glasses available. the staff communicated well via text, and it, even without constant on-site presence.

Gaining access upon arrival could have been smoother. Clearer instructions would definitely improve the initial experience. it felt slightly confusing at first, and more explicit directions would be beneficial.

The location was convenient. It was close to shops.

I found the lack of on-site staff unsettling. There was no reception. Breakfast was delivered in a basket, and I needed to toast my own bread two floors down in a communal kitchen. It felt a bit impersonal. I also discovered that our room had not been serviced one day, and coffee had not been replenished.
