Family Deluxe Cabins (142m2) have 1 queen bed, 1 double bed, and 2 single beds, accommodating 1-6 guests, and feature forest views, a kitchen, dining room, living room, private bathroom, safety deposit box, parking, picnic table, cable TV, terrace, and hairdryer, starting from USD $190.27. Family Cabins (100m2) feature 2 double beds and 2 single beds with garden views, starting from USD $172.57. Superior Cabins (76m2) include 1 king bed and 1 futon, accommodating 1-3 guests, and a BBQ, starting from USD $146.02. Los Pinos Cabins & Reserve is located in the Cloud Forest of Monteverde, between the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve. Aeropuerto de La Fortuna is 90 km away. From San José Centro, buses depart at 6:30 AM and 2:30 PM from Terminal 7-10, with a 4.5-hour journey costing c2.810 per person each way. From Juan Santamaría Airport, take a bus or taxi to Multicentro La Estación. From Liberia, take a bus to San José or Puntarenas and get off in Sardinal, then wait for a bus to Monteverde. The 1:30 PM bus goes through La Irma at about 2:30 PM, and the 2:15 PM bus goes through Lagartos around 3:00 PM. Most attractions in Monteverde provide transportation to and from the hotel. Taxis are available all day.
