Breakfast is served in the Waterfront Restaurant from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM Monday to Friday, and 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM Saturday and Sunday. Carvery Lunch is served in the Bar Monday to Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Carvery Lunch is available Sundays and Bank Holidays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The a la carte menu is available after lunch until 9:00 PM Monday to Saturday, and until 8:00 PM on Sundays and Bank Holidays. The Restaurant also serves a la carte menu and is open Fri - Sun 6pm - 9pm and for set lunch menus on Sundays 12.30-2pm.

The village of Leighlinbridge features narrow windy streets and castle ruins overlooking a 14th-century bridge. Surviving towpaths and riverside roads run from the canal hamlet of Lowtown in County Kildare to the monastic site.
