spacious roomtartan theme
the room was spacious the hotel recently redecorated it had a very tartan theme breakfasts were substantial and good quality there was plenty of car parking available a bus stop was also located at the door for trips to the city.
the food was overpriced

I got the wrong room upon arrival. It was a double instead of the twin I had booked. A third room was allocated, but it lacked a curtain, so light came through.

The staff was really friendly and happy. The location is great for exploring. The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable.
The food felt a bit overpriced. The style of the rooms is very basic. I thought the doors slammed shut. It wasn't great for getting sleep.

the room was quite spacious. breakfast was served hot and included quality produce (i especially enjoyed the freshly baked bread). the bus stop outside made it easy to get around.
The lift was out of order. This was a problem because the stairs were very steep. i noticed a musty smell throughout the building, i think because it is old. the bathroom felt quite cramped.
