The Bistro Restaurant SY La Terrasse features meals made from regional and seasonal products. The menu includes Charolais beef, local vegetables from Vézelay Terroir farm, and Burgundy specialties. The restaurant offers a wine selection, whiskeys, and cocktails. It is open daily for lunch and dinner, with service from 12:00 to 13:30 and from 19:00 to 20:30 (21:00 in summer). The dining room seats 40 people, with 60 additional places available on the terrace.

Hotel SY La Terrasse is on the square in front of the Basilica Sainte-Madeleine, a UNESCO site. The Contemporary Art Museum Zervos is near the hotel. The Basilica of St Mary Magdalene is of the twelfth century. Other nearby landmarks include the archaeological site of Fountains Salty (straddling the town of Foissy-lès-Vézelay and south of the town of Saint-Père) and the Castle of Chastellux, located in the heart of the Morvan.
