Location on the Seine
Le Senat is on the left bank of the Seine, between Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Latin Quarter. The hotel is next to Quai de Conti and the Institut de France. Things to See
In front of the hotel, you can find the Saint-Germain-des-Prés abbey. Not far from the hotel are the Senate Palace and the Luxembourg museum. Le Senat is near the Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck, open daily from 09:30 to 23:00 during the summer, and 20 km from Orly. The Stade de France is the biggest French football stadium with 80,698 seats. You can see the nave, the Lady Chapel with a statue of Jean-Baptiste Pigalle, the vestry, the 3 paintings by Eugène Delacroix of the Saints-Anges chapel and the Cavaillé-Coll grand organ.
