helpful staff convenient garden great location dated interior tired room limited mini bar
i really liked that they let me have my own wine in the garden. i also enjoyed some snacks there. the staff gave me glasses and things like that. the hotel is close to the historical center too.
the hotel decor is a wild mix with busts and odd collectibles. i thought the room looked pretty worn. it was supposed to be a superior double room, but it wasn't very special.

on-site parking refreshing pool fresh pastries
I enjoyed the convenience of on-site parking and the refreshing pool. It was perfect after a day exploring. the breakfast was quite good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. I particularly loved the fresh pastries. the staff was very friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and good advice for local spots.
the television in my room had no english channels, a bit disappointing since i wanted to catch up on the news.

poor wifi mobile reception
the pool was very clean. it was great to relax by it after a day in town.
the wifi signal was poor in my room. i also found no mobile reception. this is not acceptable in the 21st century.

The staff was indeed very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the central yet quiet location. Breakfast offered hot croissants (a real treat) and good coffee.
The courtyard is used as a car park, fine since parking can be premium in the area.

hotel parking helpful manager short walk
The hotel had parking on the hotel which WAS convenient. I appreciated that the manager helped make a restaurant reservation. I also found the hotel just a short walk to the center of the town.
The room decor seemed quite old fashioned. Also I noticed a strange odor in the room.

I appreciated the gated courtyard setting and surrounding gardens. It felt secluded. The pool was great for a refreshing dip after a day exploring. I found the location convenient, it allowed quick access to the town centre.
