central gem

central locationcomplimentary waterhelpful staffdiverse breakfast
i found the hotel convenient, it was just steps away from the cathedral. the hotel offered complimentary still and sparkling water in the reception area, a thoughtful touch. i especially appreciated the staff's helpfulness in accommodating my request for a room with a city view. the breakfast buffet was diverse with many options.
the parking access was slightly challenging, requiring a specific code to lower bollards.
Location
10/10
the location proved superb, placing me within a short walk of the main attractions. being so close to the cathedral and other landmarks made exploring the city easy. the hotel's central position allowed quick access to restaurants and shops.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel provided convenient underground parking, a significant benefit in a central area (though access required a code). there was a fitness area available, with equipment suited for basic cardio. i appreciated the provision of filtered water in the lobby, reducing reliance on plastic bottles.
Dining
9/10
the breakfast offered many choices, including a station for cooking boiled eggs. freshly prepared scrambled eggs were a highlight (i found them particularly tasty). while i didn't have other meals, the bar and restaurant area seemed inviting with attentive service.
Rooms
8/10
my room was clean and well kept, offering a comfortable place to relax after sightseeing. though i didn't have a balcony, the room provided an excellent view of the city. the bed was firm, but this suited my preference.

decent location, some issues

excellent locationfriendly staffhelpful staffsewage smelldifficult parkingbig car
the hotel location was excellent. i could easily walk to nearby attractions. the staff were very friendly and helpful. i especially appreciated the assistance with directions.
The bathroom smelled a bit weird when i arrived. it got worse in the morning. There was a strong sewage smell in the entire room. i told the reception, but they just shrugged. the underground parking was difficult to navigate. i have a big car (it's a family car!), and i struggled with the access and size.
