Rooms: Comfort and Style
Lake Panorama National Resort offers lodging adjacent to the clubhouse and on the interior of the Lake Panorama National golf course. Accommodations include two-bedroom, two-bath townhomes, studios, and guesthouse units. Each unit features free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a coffee machine, ironing facilities and air conditioning. Select units include a kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and microwave. Some rooms offer a patio, a washing machine and a fireplace. All guests can use the outdoor pool, tennis court, pickleball courts, basketball court, sand volleyball court, disc golf, hiking trails, beaches and playgrounds at no charge.

Lake Panorama National Resort features a restaurant and a bar. A variety of breakfast delights are available, including a made-to-order egg station, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, Canadian bacon, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, assorted fresh fruit, and an array of pastries. Entrée offerings feature a carving station showcasing prime rib, pork tenderloin and ham. Staff can customize menus for specific needs. The Links Lounge is open Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Leisure and Activities
Guests can enjoy golfing and fishing in-and-around Panora. Onsite amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, sports courts for pickleball, basketball and tennis, a fitness center, private beaches, and boating on the 1,400-acre lake. The resort has two golf courses: Lake Panorama National, an 18-hole course designed in 1971 by Richard Watson, and Panorama West, a nine-hole, par-3 course with optional par-4 tees on five holes. The pro shop is located in the lower level of the clubhouse.
Location and Access
Lake Panorama National Resort is located in Panora and is 85 km from Des Moines International Airport. Nearby is the Guthrie County Historical Village, 3.5 km away. Lake Panorama National is situated on the east side of Lake Panorama, while Panorama West Golf Course is on the west side.

Lake Panorama National Resort includes a business center with meeting and banquet facilities, plus a children's playground. Professional services for golf outings include custom-designed scoreboards, scorecards, cart signs and flag events. The resort offers merchandise that can be customized for events. The Panorama National Pro Shop hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Guest Services are available Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
