Rooms at Lahaina Inn

The Lahaina Inn offers rooms with air conditioning, TV, telephone, a safe, wireless internet access and a hairdryer. Rooms include a private bathroom with free toiletries. Select rooms include a patio, and certain double rooms feature a balcony with sea views. The air-conditioned suite has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, a terrace with sea views, a seating area, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services.

Dining at the Inn

The hotel provides a restaurant and a bar. Lahaina Grill, located upstairs, serves new American cuisine in a contemporary bistro setting. Signature items include sautéed mahi-mahi with local kula spinach, herb-infused mashed potatoes, gorgonzola, pancetta, and chardonnay beurre blanc, and Maui onion and sesame seed-crusted seared ahi with vanilla bean jasmine rice and apple cider-soy butter vinaigrette. Entrée prices range from $45 to $85. Dinner is served nightly from 5 PM. The bar at Lahaina Grill seats 16 and offers the full menu.

Leisure and Activities

Guests have access to the amenities at the Royal Lahaina Resort, including a pool, beach, spa, fitness center, restaurants, and tennis facilities. Nearby activities include kayaking, scuba diving, and snorkeling, as well as hiking and biking trails.

Location and Access

Hotel Lahaina is located in historic Lahaina Town, near Front Street, and is within walking distance of Maui's shopping, dining, and nightlife. Nearby landmarks include the Old Lahaina Courthouse (0.5 km), Maria Lanakila Catholic Church (0.5 km), and the Baldwin Home Museum (0.5 km). The hotel is 15 km from Kapalua and a 15-minute walk from Sugarcane. The nearest airport is Kahului Airport. Lahaina Grill is located at 127 Lahainaluna Rd., two blocks from Honoapiilani Highway (Highway 30).

The location, a stone's throw from Front Street, puts you directly into Lahaina's pulse, with the rocking chairs a prime spot for enjoying the town's ambiance. While rooms may be compact and noise can carry, I find the hotel's maritime charm and responsive staff more than compensate, especially with the Nespresso in hand.”
