Ólafsvík is a 30-minute drive, and Stykkishólmur (ferry to Westfjords) is 45 minutes. From Reykjavík, the drive takes approximately 2 hours (160 km). The guesthouse offers a quiet environment with views of mountains, the ocean, and Snæfellsjökull glacier. Driving from Kasti to Ólafsvík is possible, offering a round trip around Snæfellsjökull. Driving to Lýsa, a small lake with trout, is about 2 minutes away.
