Mixed Experience at Hotel

loud children poorly kept tennis

I was placed in a room near many children despite my request to be away from them I informed the hotel weeks in advance about my need for quiet as a light sleeper I felt ignored. The access to the pool area lacked privacy with a shared elevator used by all guests this was awkward. The tennis court was not well-kept the net was torn and a piece of metal on a bench injured my husband

i found the staff helpful and polite. the breakfast buffet featured a diverse array of options that i navigated with ease.

I noticed that the corridors were long and dark, somewhat disorienting. also, the pool area felt small. I thought it was not especially convenient for families.

Really good Hospitality and Excellent Facilities

unsurpassed hospitality beautiful facilities convenient location

The staff displayed unsurpassed hospitality. The facilities were beautiful, and my room was spacious. I particularly enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet (it had great options for everyone!). The location is convenient, especially since it is close to the airport.

One minor issue involved the non-private entrance to the pool and spa. The same elevator in the lobby area is used by everyone, including those entering the pool. I think a separate entrance would improve privacy.

Dining

10/10

Kitchen 7 features a rich and tasty breakfast buffet, with Indian and Chinese options included, which I found appealing. The staff are also very attentive (such as Naveen, Taryk, Jaki, and Arlyn) and ensured a pleasant dining experience daily. The steak restaurant offers an excellent experience as well.

Facilities

9/10

The gym includes modern equipment for workouts. The rooms have all necessary amenities. I appreciated the upgrade to a room overlooking the pool (the views are beautiful!).

Service

10/10

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful (from check-in to taxis). Tawhid from the hotel team provided pleasurable service. He helped with navigating the hotel and taxi system.

Location

9/10

The hotel's proximity to the airport is convenient for travel. The Mall of Oman is easily accessible. Taxis are required for travel into the city, but they are readily available.
