efficient staff spa access
i found the staff cute and efficient. the spa access across the road at the carlton tower added value. the ability to use those facilities was a huge plus for me.
my room felt small given its price point. the bathroom needed updates with no walk in shower available. this made showering slightly inconvenient.

efficient staff comfortable bed varied selection
The hotel staff acted friendly and efficient. the room size impressed me, especially the comfortable bed and a balcony. the high-quality breakfast included a tasty and varied selection. also, i loved the pool access at the partner hotel. It added a touch of luxury to my visit.
I noticed a small charge on my bill. It was for cotton buds. it surprised me, since usually 5-star hotels provide these amenities at no extra cost.

Underwhelming stay. Facilities not as expected
small rooms misleading pictures
i was really disappointed with my stay. the pictures online showed an indoor swimming pool and gym, but these are not in the same building. you have to go to another jumeirah hotel about 100 meters away to use them. this hotel feels like a lesser branch of jumeirah, and that was not clear when i booked.

refined simplicity, subtle drawbacks
excellent location accessible transport high standard
the location was excellent. i could easily reach many attractions on foot. public transport was very accessible. the staff seemed attentive and helpful. the housekeeping maintained a high standard. our room always looked fresh after we returned from outings.
the in-house dining options were limited. the experience didn't quite reflect the expected standard. i feel the hotel could benefit from improvements.
