lacking soundproofing poor insulation
My room lacked proper soundproofing. I could hear furniture moved by housekeeping and locals shouting from the garden pool. It lacked serenity. The rooms were not insulated.

laundry services attentive staff
The hotel offers complimentary same-day laundry services. This was very convenient. I enjoyed the daily 60-minute massage included with my stay. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The staff demonstrated attentiveness.
My room overlooked some service areas. It wasn't a significant issue! but it wasn't the view I had hoped for.
