Location and Surroundings
Jambiani White Sands Bungalows are situated on the beach in the village of Jambiani, in South East Coast. Kisauni is 60 km away. Nearby landmarks include Kuza Cave (4.5 km) and Bahari View Lodge (4 km). A boat will take you a short distance at sea. Jozani is home to unique species including the Red Colobus monkey, bush babies, duikers, hyraxes, and a number of species of butterfly and birds. Jozani is one of the last indigenous forests on the island. Zanzibar city, a UNESCO world heritage town, is nearby. One can find a wide variety of spices and fruits which includes cloves, cardamom, ginger cinnamon, saffron, vanilla, and many other spices and fruits. A trip includes a visit to the stone town harbor, the historic cathedral, the house of wonders, the old fort and the people's palace. The tour ends with a visit to the shopping area of the town.
