excellent visit near iconic landmarks

comfortable room excellent breakfast central location short walk

the room was a king room sofa bed, and it suited my needs perfectly. breakfast offered a wide variety and everything was plentiful! i loved that the location was within walking distance of every site. i was only a 5-minute walk from the white house!!!

the pillows were too soft for my liking, and i had to stack them for support.

the hotel had good efforts on sustainability. there was removal of plastic single use breakfast dishes and utensils and no plastic cups in the bathrooms. the hotel's close proximity to the national mall is also fantastic for running.

convenient location excellent shower efficient staff

the location was very convenient, close to many attractions. the room had a great shower with good water pressure. the staff was nice and efficient during my brief interactions.

the breakfast had limited options for those with dietary restrictions.

AC problems and understaffing issues

ac system understaffed desk

the AC system REALLY struggled to keep up with the outside temperature. it was difficult to get the room cool enough for a good night's sleep. also, the front desk was understaffed during check-in. i waited quite some time to be assisted as the staff member was managing multiple tasks, A frustration.

The location was convenient. It was close to many attractions. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices. The staff were always available and ready to assist, VERY helpful.

The air conditioning did not seem to work correctly. The temperature was difficult to regulate. I noticed several bugs in the bathroom. The window provided little natural light because of its placement relative to other room features.
