The Boone Tavern Restaurant serves Southern cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu includes appetizers, salads in two sizes, unique sandwiches, and hot entrees. Boone Tavern Signature Dishes feature ingredients from Berea College Farm, alongside homemade desserts. The restaurant serves breakfast with pancakes and a Big City spread with smoked salmon bagel, onions, and capers. Evening dining includes appetizers, salads, entrees, daily features, and desserts. The restaurant features local specialities and Southern fare. The restaurant sources regional Kentucky Proud ingredients. New Crafted restaurant, bar, and lounge opens in June.

The Berea College Visitor Center & Shoppe offers BC college gear and hand-made student crafts, campus tours, and craft industry demonstrations. Guests can visit the Frost Cafe or Boone Tavern Restaurant between 5 pm and 8 pm. Nearby attractions include the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea (3.5 km), the Forestry Outreach Center, and hiking trails in the Berea College Forest. Guests can rent bikes at Get Outside Kentucky and kayaks or paddleboards for Owsley Fork Reservoir. Special lodging packages include trail maps, guides, and bagged lunches.
