A mostly positive stay with a few issues

clean rooms beautiful gardens ungritted drive breakfast inclusion

The rooms were clean. The staff where friendly. The pool and spa facilities was great, I enjoyed using them. I liked the gardens. They looked beautiful and peaceful.

I did not know breakfast was not included. The drive was not gritted well enough. This made entry unsafe during the snow storm, this was a problem.

Really good Hospitality and Amenities

The lodge was very clean and featured good equipment suitable for a large family. The Keiller Brasserie had a great menu with many options. The pool area, along with the steam room and sauna, provided excellent leisure facilities. Staff helped me promptly when I needed change for the pool lockers.

The car charging process for electric vehicles was not straightforward.

Staff members are great and provided excellent support . The reception staff offered clear communication about the hotel and surrounding activities. They also notified me promptly when a parcel with forgotten items arrived for me.

The hotel is located close to Balmoral Castle and offers fantastic views. The area has beautiful scenery all around and includes a lovely little town. This area is ideal for walking and visiting local landmarks.

warm welcome fine views

our lodge felt like a home, equipped with all necessities. the check-in was so warm, i felt very special and personally cared for. the balcony made my day because i enjoy seeing the wildlife and the fine cairngorms.

the bedrooms downstairs felt strangely cold during the nights.

unexpected charges dated decor

the location was acceptable, situated conveniently near several attractions.

The bill seemed disproportionately high given my limited use of appliances and heating, leaving a sour note at the end of my stay. the decor felt quite dated, resembling something from my grandmother's house.
