Highbrook Motel Rooms
The Highbrook Motel features Standard Rooms in the First Building, with large picture windows, whitewash oak furniture, and two upholstered arm chairs, each including one king size bed. Deluxe Rooms are located in the Second Building and are 338 square feet, with larger bathrooms, a vanity inside the bathroom, and an extra vanity and dressing area outside. Comfortable wing back chairs and Serta mattresses are included. Mini-Suites offer a bathroom and dressing area similar to Deluxe Rooms, plus a sitting area divided from the bedroom by a half wall. Each mini-suite has one king size bed.
Breakfast At Highbrook
A complimentary continental breakfast is delivered each morning between 7:30 am and 8:30 am. Order online from a variety of items, such as breakfast sandwiches (scrambled egg, bacon, and American cheese on an English muffin), bagels with spreads, baked goods, steel cut oats (topped with cinnamon, brown sugar, walnuts, and dried cranberries), fresh fruit (apples, bananas, and oranges), Greek yogurts, and hard-boiled eggs. Gluten-free options are available.
Biking and More
Guests can access over 50 miles of vehicle-free Carriage Roads or the 27-mile Park Loop Road for biking. A trailhead is located half a mile away. Kayaking is available on Mount Desert Island, with guided sea kayak tours and kayak rentals at Long Pond. Acadia National Park offers hiking trails, including the Great Head Trail (1.4 miles), the Ocean Path (over two miles), and the South Ridge Trail of Cadillac Mountain (7 miles).
