Hotel Hari Niwas Palace has 40 rooms including Rajmata, Maharaja, Maharani, Yuvraj and Rajkumari suites. Rooms include air-conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a wardrobe. Private bathrooms include shower amenities. Some deluxe rooms have private balconies with views of the river valley and mountains. Each room is decorated with Victorian furniture and includes satellite TVs, telephones with ISD and STD access, a mini bar, and tea/coffee maker. Wi-Fi internet access, safe lockers, and doctor on call are available.
Onsite Kashmiri Cuisine
Guests can choose between 3 in-house restaurants serving Kashmiri, Chinese, Thai, and continental cuisines. Nilaya provides Mughlai, Kashmiri, Dogri, Chinese, Thai, and Continental dishes. Recipes from the Royal kitchen are also served in Nilaya. A unique Dogri menu is one of the highlights. The garden restaurant specializes in Indian, Arabic, and Western barbeque. Complimentary continental breakfast is provided at Samovar coffee shop for 2 adults per room.

Hotel Hari Niwas Palace is 10 km from Jammu and 500 metres from Amar Mahal Palace Museum. Katra, the base camp for the Vaishnodevi shrine, is 50 km away. The nearest airport and railhead are in Jammu. The hotel overlooks the Tawi river valley on one side and Trikuta hills on the other.
