Located in Lana near Meran, Hotel Gschwangut is amidst a Mediterranean garden surrounded by orchards, 25 km from Bolzano. Nearby landmarks include St. Margareth (0.5 km), Sudtiroler Obstbaumuseum (1 km), Gaul Canyon (2 km), Bauernmuseum Vollan (2.5 km), Felixer Wasserfall (1.5 km), Brandis (1.5 km), Castel Monteleone (3.5 km), and Museo della Frutticoltura (1 km). Guests can take the cable car from Lana up to Vigiljoch (1,485 m), from where circular walks starts. The hotel is near Golf Club Lana 'Gutshof Brandis', Dolomiti Golf Club and Eppan Golf Club.
