Star Magic suites feature two floors and two bathrooms, with some offering freestanding bathtubs. Stone Pine Magic rooms include solid pinewood and natural clay walls with direct garden access. The Luis Trenker suite pays homage to a friend of the hotel and includes a private sunbathing area with separate pool access. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and parquet floors. Select rooms provide garden, mountain, or pool views. Some rooms have a private terrace.

Dining Details

The hotel's cuisine is based on fresh, local ingredients inspired by Mediterranean and Alpine influences. The restaurant 'Lorenz' offers a 4-course menu. Homemade cake is available Thursday and Saturday afternoons, and a cheese buffet is featured on Fridays, accompanied by homemade chutneys. Breakfast includes fresh-baked bread, egg dishes made to order, juices, smoothies, yogurts with fresh fruit, and South Tyrolean herbal teas. Lactose- and gluten-free products are available upon request. Breakfast and dinner are served in 'Lorenz', on the terrace, or in the garden.

Guests have free access to regional trains and buses, cable cars to Renon, San Genesio, Maranza, Meltina, Colle, and Verano, the Renon tram railway, and the Mendola funicular. A garden provides a place for relaxation. The hotel features an outdoor pool, which remains open. The sauna can only be used by members of the same family. A weekly cheese tasting is held on Friday evenings, and Alberto, the proprietor, leads a weekly hike to local places.

Located in Nals, Zum Rosenbaum enjoys a panoramic position surrounded by apple trees and vineyards. The hotel is 20 km from Bolzano and near Merano. The Bolzano-Merano expressway provides easy access. A historic cycle path passes directly by the hotel.
