The location offered free parking, a definite plus. i also found the staff to be quite friendly (i even had a nice chat with one of them about local history). breakfast was good. The welsh breakfast was quite filling.

The room felt a bit dusty. A more thorough cleaning would help. the kettle was somewhat fiddly. It took a few tries to get it working. also, there was a lack of storage space for clothes (i only had a small drawer and a tiny wardrobe).

the wardrobe rail was not secure, it fell down when i went to hang up my jacket. the bed wasn't very comfortable, i found it lumpy. the shower head also fell on my husband's head, unacceptable.

this hotel is family run and very friendly. my wife requires dairy-free options, and the staff accommodated her needs well. i found both the evening meals and breakfasts to be delicious. our room was also nice and quiet (just what we needed after a long journey).

The room felt a bit dusty. I think it could benefit from a more thorough cleaning sometimes.
