The Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort has Deluxe Rooms and Family Suites. Deluxe Rooms have either two queen beds or one king-size bed, a mini-refrigerator, a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker, and Wi-Fi. Lakefront rooms above ground level feature private balconies. Ground-level rooms have patios near Mirror Lake. Pet-friendly rooms are available on the 3rd floor. Specialty Rooms have amenities of Deluxe rooms plus whirlpool tubs or fireplaces. Family Suites offer a second bedroom for extra space. The Algonquin Suite includes a king-sized bed, fireplace, and whirlpool tub. The Colden Suite features a king bed and two queen beds with doors to Mirror Lake. The Echo Suite provides a king bed, whirlpool tub, and balcony with lake views.
Dining at Generations
Generations Tap & Grill serves farm-fresh food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cuisine includes classic American and North Country styles. Specialty drinks are available, made with juices and infused vodkas. The restaurant is connected to the resort. The outside deck has views of the Golden Arrow's Green Roof. Generations sources local ingredients, including eggs from Giroux's Poultry Farm and bread from Klinger's bakery. The bar prepares drinks with locally grown fruits. The restaurant uses china and silverware for catered events and less-toxic cleaners.
Leisure and Activities
The hotel features a heated indoor pool with a sauna, steam bath, and two whirlpool tubs, open from 8 am to 10 pm. The Fitness Center has cardio and weight machines, free weights, and yoga mats. An Elkay EzH2O water bottle filling station is available. There are firepits and chairs along the beach. In summer, the private white sand beach has rowboats, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, hydro-bikes, and stand-up paddleboards. In winter, there is a cleared ice rink. Lake Placid Dog Sledding is available, as well as a toboggan chute ride. A Green Roof can be seen from the deck of Generations Restaurant.
