About the Hotel
Rooms and suites
Whiteface Lodge offers suites ranging from 500-square-foot junior suites to a 3,100-square-foot Presidential Suite. Presidential Suites accommodate 6-12 guests and feature private elevator access. Grand Lodge Suites exceed 2,300 square feet and accommodate up to 10 guests, with enclosed balconies offering views. Three-bedroom suites are bi-level and located on the top floor. One-bedroom deluxe suites feature jetted tubs and separate walk-in showers. All suites include a flat-screen cable TV, fireplace, and kitchen. Some suites have a semi-open loft-style master bedroom, twin-size beds, and an enclosed four-season porch. Ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, terrace, a dining table, and garden furniture are standard. Bathrooms include free toiletries, and rooms have a washing machine, and cookware/kitchen utensils.
Dining at Whiteface Lodge
Kanu serves Adirondack-inspired cuisine using local farm ingredients, with a la carte and multi-course wine pairing menus. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, and dinner service is available Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Peak 47 offers casual meals, signature drinks, and live music, with lunch served daily from noon to 5:00 PM, and dinner from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday. Drinks are available until 10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, and until 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. Canoe Club Grill, accessible via complimentary shuttle, provides light fare with views of Whiteface Mountain. An Old Fashion Ice Cream Parlor features Adirondack Creamery Ice Cream, candy, and milkshakes. In-suite dining is available during regular restaurant hours.
Leisure and Entertainment
Whiteface Lodge has a movie theater with show times at 3:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 9:00 PM, offering complimentary popcorn. The family game room is open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, featuring air hockey, billiards, foosball, shuffleboard, and ping pong. A two-lane bowling alley is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The lodge offers year-round indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Sport courts for tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, and basketball are available from 8:00 AM until dusk. Complimentary yoga classes are offered twice a week. The fitness center is open 24 hours, with key card access, and includes cardio equipment, free weights, and machines. Guests have access to a signature collection of watercraft via concierge service, including canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, and paddle boards. In winter, there is ice skating, and rustic lean-tos offer fire pits.
Spa and Wellness
The Spa at Whiteface Lodge features massages, facials, body and nail treatments. Spa packages are available. Traditional therapeutic massages include Swedish, deep tissue, pregnancy, and sports massages. Signature massage services include Ausable River stone massage. Enhancements like hydrating warm oil scalp massage and reflexology are offered. Skin care treatments include HydraFacial and Naturopathica facials. Body treatments include Whiteface arnica recovery wrap. Salon services are available for cut and style, bridal up-dos, makeup application, highlights, color, and keratin smoothing treatment. Nail treatments include classic manicure and pedicure rituals, and gel manicures. Spa services begin at 9:00 AM, with the last appointment at 4:00 PM, ending at 5:00 PM. The spa includes a cedar wood sauna, steam rooms and a fitness center.
