peeling wallpaper cracked tiles

The room I had was a bit disappointing. Some of the wallpaper was peeling, i suspect from moisture, and the bathroom tiles had cracks. It's a shame, since small repairs could make a big difference.

the staff was friendly. the full breakfast was freshly cooked. i noticed it had a good range of other choices available (especially the sausages!). the room was clean.

the room felt dated. i also noticed bad condensation on the window. i saw mould.

Relaxing Stay with Excellent Food

lovely size corner bath

The room was a lovely size, it had everything I needed. Toiletries, an iron, and an ironing board were available (very useful!). The corner spa bath was great after a long day. The bathroom even had a TV, awesome for relaxation while bathing.

The mattress was quite soft, and I found it a little uncomfortable during the night. I think a firmer mattress would make the room even better.

The restaurant is quaint, with friendly staff. I had a burger made on-site. It was delicious and one of the best I have had. Breakfast was excellent as well (especially the pancakes!).
