The room was themed and the bathroom was very nice.
The restaurant refused to take my order because I arrived five minutes before closing. They offered crisps instead. That was a terrible alternative. It's not acceptable when you're paying for a room. The waitress acted like it was a big deal to even ask the kitchen staff.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!). The cottage had USB plugs and smart TVs, combining modern features with the older style of the building.
The restaurant refused to take my order at 8:55 PM though it closed at 9:00 PM. I wanted an entrée, I was very disappointed. The waitress offered crisps and peanuts as an alternative.

A Solid Stay

The room was nicely decorated. I stayed in the Double Room this time. The toiletries were lovely, and there were fluffy white towels. Breakfast was good. The dinner menu had a good range of wines.
The restaurant refused to take my order, I arrived at 8:55 PM, it closes at 9:00 PM. I only wanted something small. The waitress offered crisps, that was not great.
