a decidedly average experience

grim back alley questionable stains
the staff proved adequately friendly upon arrival nothing special though
the room i got faced a rather grim back alley the view was less than inspiring honestly quite depressing the general cleanliness also left something to be desired i noticed dust and some questionable stains on the carpet it definitely detracted from any sense of luxury that a hotel should have

friendly staff excellent food central location
The staff at the bar were very friendly and helpful. the food in the restaurant was excellent, i thought. the location is great. It is close to the city center and other attractions.
i found the car park quite small, made parking a bit tricky.

The location was quite convenient. the room was bright and spacious (i felt very comfortable). the staff was friendly. A scottish lady at breakfast was especially helpful.
The heating was not working correctly. the room felt quite cold upon arrival. there was confusion about the checkout time.
