Detached Deluxe Villas feature a king size four poster bed or twin beds, private sundeck with day bed, semi-open air bathroom with outdoor shower and bathtub. The water villas stand on stilts over the lagoon and include a king size four poster bed or twin beds, a large bathroom with a jacuzzi, a day bed, a private sundeck with a traditional 'udoli' and private steps leading directly into the water. Rooms include air conditioning, fan, satellite TV, IDD telephone, shampoo and soap, bathrobe, hair dryer, minibar, working table, wardrobe, wooden sundeck with seating, sun-loungers, in-room safe and 220 AC. Laundry service is available for an extra charge. Mosquito repellent is provided.

Dining Options

The Main Restaurant serves buffet menu with dishes from around the world and live cooking stations. The Sunset Restaurant and Bar, located on the tip of the island adjacent to the turquoise ocean, offers an international a la carte menu, European and New World wines, cocktails, and juices. Private dining on the beach or at the Sunset Restaurant is available. The Main Bar offers spirits, wine, and beer with seating inside or outside on the beach. Breakfast (07:30 - 09:30), lunch (12:30 - 14:30), and dinner (19:30 - 21:30) is served in the Main Restaurant. Afternoon tea is available from 04:00pm - 06:00pm at the Sunset Restaurant. Filitheyo bottled water - 1 Liter per person per day-Unlimited water bottles at restaurants, house brand.

Leisure & Entertainment

Filitheyo Island Resort offers a Padi-certified Diving Centre and Water Sports Centre. Guests can play table tennis, volleyball, football, or badminton. The Filitheyo Spa offers Balinese and international treatments. A fitness center is available. Excursions include sunset and morning fishing, trolling fishing, island-hopping, and snorkeling. Snorkeling is accessible from the restaurant/bar area. Rental equipment is chargeable.

Location & Transportation

Filitheyo Island Resort is located in Faafu Atoll, 118 km from Male Velana International Airport. The transfer from the airport includes a 35-minute seaplane ride and a 10-minute traditional dhoni ride. Seaplane transfers are the only means of transportation for guests to this beautiful island. Guests must send arrival and departure flight details directly to the property at least 3 days prior to arrival. Seaplane transfer can be arranged for international flights that depart from the Maldives from 09:15hrs onwards.

Filitheyo Island Resort offers diving & water sports activities, a Filitheyo lounge at Malé International Airport, online pre-registration, 24-hour guest services, and 24-hour security. Laundry service is available. All Inclusive Package excludes room service and items from the gift shops. A Guest Relations Officer is available. Guests are greeted by Airport Hosts on arrival and escorted to the terminal, which features a dedicated Lounge.
