The breakfast was excellent and offered great variety. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated their attentiveness. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds. I enjoyed a walk in the morning. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.
The room decor seemed quite tired. I found that a general update would improve the experience. There were areas that needed attention and I'd suggest a review of the room's overall presentation. Some minor maintenance would enhance the stay further.

The staff was great and the room I had was bigger than expected!
The salt and pepper prawns were far too salty. The potato with the lamb shank was grey, and the portion sizes generally were far too big. This made the meal really disappointing.

The welcome I received was friendly. My room was large and spacious. The location had nice grounds and it was easy to find near the motorway.
The company adds a service charge to the bill. I had to alter my approach and felt unnecessary embarrassment. There were only two small pillows on the large bed, which looked odd.
