“Elite Athlete Centre And Hotel is a unique proposition: the UK's first hotel explicitly designed around the needs of elite athletes, from its altitude-controlled rooms to its bespoke, high-iron menus. I was particularly intrigued by the level of performance support available, including accredited strength and conditioning coaches. The location on the Loughborough University campus places you right in the heart of its sporting events and facilities.”

parking nightmare broken tv
The parking situation was AWFUL. A conference filled all the spaces. My room was on the fourth floor. I could not open a window. There was no air conditioning. This made sleeping difficult. The tv did not work properly either. What A NIGHTMARE!!!

The location was excellent for attending an event on campus. Free parking right outside the building was very convenient. The reception staff were friendly and helpful to me.
The breakfast buffet food was only just warm when served.

The spacious room included a sizable en-suite bathroom. I requested extra milk, and the staff provided fresh milk, not just sachets. The quiet location ensured a restful stay.

Decent Location, Some Disappointments
cold breakfast poor sound insulation
The breakfast was a real letdown. The food looked appealing, but it wasn't hot enough. Everything was served on cold plates, so my meal was completely cold before I finished it. Also. the room wasn't very soundproof. I could hear every word said next door because the main door wasn't sealed properly.
