the views overlooking the river were indeed very nice.
The dining experience disappointed me. The restaurant food was subpar for a supposed five-star hotel and overpriced. the hotel's remote location made finding alternative dining options difficult, because of this, i felt almost forced to eat at the hotel. the hotel also needs an upgrade. The lobby and bar area felt unwelcoming.

the view from the suite river view was really breath taking. the room was big and it had nice decorations, lovely i must say. breakfast was like a dream with the views adding a touch of romance.
the drive to wineries was a bit much, nearly an hour, thats too far. the staff, not all, had a bad attitude, which really took away from the magic. i also find there isnt enough restaurants in the near area and the hotel restaurant overcharge.

I enjoyed the excellent view from the room. The coffee machine had daily nespresso capsules. Underground parking was very convenient, and breakfast offered a good selection. I also appreciated the fast and efficient room service. The staff members were kind and helpful.
The air conditioning did not work overnight in my room , making sleep difficult.

The room had a great view of the river. towels were soft and white, i liked them. free indoor parking was secured. It was also easy to access.

the bedroom featured a generously sized bag. i found water, coffee, and tea provided as a welcome treat. it included a nice balcony offering views over the rio douro. breakfast was a buffet with different options.
