comfortable bed fluffy towels amazing location
I appreciated the comfortable bed with fluffy white towels provided. Breakfast included many options. The location proved amazing, right next to the National Trust Park. The proximity was really good.
The provided kettle looked unclean. It made me hesitant to prepare tea.

helpful staff good breakfast
The staff found a hose. I could wash down my bike. They even allowed me to store it in my room, VERY helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was AMAZING!!! Service exceeded my expectations. It was friendly. Breakfast was also good.
The corridors had a slight damp smell. I noticed it.

the staff were all very helpful and polite. the food was really good. i also appreciated the great location near some lovely walks.
The hotel is tired and in need of tlc. the bedding and towels were clean. i noticed a lack of modernisation. the place really smells awful.

large parking easy access quiet location nice bar
The parking area was large and provided easy access. A quiet location ensured minimal noise. The bar area looked nice, as did the breakfast room. The location is next to National Trust-owned land and a beauty spot.
The corridor leading to the rooms had a slight musty smell.
