“Converted from a 15th-century Carthusian convent, the hotel presents a boutique experience amplified by its membership in 'Small Luxury Hotels of the World'. Overlooking the Dijver canal, this historic building features both antique furnishings and contemporary design; however, occasional odors reflect its age and unique setting.
The breakfast is extensive, and English Afternoon Tea is served daily, but soundproofing might be an issue for light sleepers; ultimately, I think it's a distinctive but not flawless choice for a Bruges stay.”

wide selection central location canal view
my room, a canal view room, was nice. the breakfast offered a wide selection and tasted fresh. the hotel's location was really central and made seeing things so easy.
the mini bar prices, it was a bit expensive.

fantastic stay in the heart of the city
helpful staff main attractions fulfilling breakfast
the staff was really good i found them helpful and their recommendations were on point the location was also great as i could easily walk to many main attractions the breakfast had many options it included everything needed for a fulfilling start.
i noticed some minor wear in the bathroom but it was still very functional

attentive staff easy access complimentary champagne small room extra charge high cost
the staff was wonderfully attentive. the location offered easy access to the main attractions. i especially enjoyed the complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival.. it felt so cute.
the room felt a bit small for a couple. there was an extra charge for every little thing. i found that somewhat disappointing, considering the cost of the room.

perfect location lounge access latex pillows mattress topper
The location is perfect, putting guests near main attractions. Service included lounge access. The room provided everything needed..
I was disappointed that there were no options for anti-allergy pillows. Only latex pillows were available. There was no linen on the mattress itself, only a mattress topper.
