underwhelming stay near eiffel tower

constant noiseuseless earplugs

i booked a room expecting a certain level of comfort. my room was quite noisy because of its proximity to the main entrance. people buzzed at all hours to be let in and i could hear them talking and laughing. this disturbance, coupled with early morning noise from the staff preparing breakfast, really impacted my sleep. earplugs were provided, a tacit admission of the problem, but they didn't help much.

the hotel was close to the eiffel tower i think. i could walk there easily. the staff were lovely too, they helped us taste food from different countries, it was so nice of them. the breakfast was delicious, and i liked that they answered all my questions.

the room was small, i will say that. the shower was very tiny too, and the door was kinda awkward to close. the street outside felt a bit empty at night, i am just gonna say that.
