Excellent Stay in a Historic Building
helpful staff great location mobility scooter
I enjoyed my time here greatly. The staff was amazing. They let me charge my mobility scooter in the lobby overnight. The location is wonderful. Dining and shopping surround the hotel (though I recommend exploring the back alleys for food). There are also elevators available, in addition to beautiful staircases.
The building is historic, and power outages can happen. This occurred once .

clean room new mattress pleasant staff
the room was very clean the mattress felt almost new rest was quality the staff was really pleasant breakfast was decent. The location is perfect for exploring. I appreciated the very helpful staff they were friendly.

The breakfast included many options. I had tasty eggs and bacon each morning. The location proved convenient. Tourist spots were close. The metro station was also nearby. Staff were friendly.

Fantastic Stay on La Rambla!
helpful staff overnight charging useful elevators
I found the staff helpful! They allowed me to keep my mobility scooter charging in the lobby overnight, a huge plus. The elevators were useful for getting to my room. I really appreciated the historical building with its beautiful staircases.
The shower head was small, also it seemed not installed properly. I felt the water spray was not adequate.

The location is central and very easy to access popular visitor destinations. I found the hotel's history quite fascinating! It dates back to before the French Revolution and hosted many famous guests.

Central Hotel with Good Service
decent selection helpful staff effective soundproofing air conditioning unit
The breakfast included a decent selection of items I appreciated the coffee. The staff were helpful with directions and provided city maps. My room had effective soundproofing I did not hear street noise. The air conditioning unit worked well and kept the room cool during the day.
The bathroom toiletries were basic and limited in quantity I would advise bringing your own if you prefer specific brands.

Excellent Location Near La Rambla
convenient location friendly staff spacious room
I found the location to be very convenient. It was close to public transportation and many dining options. The staff was helpful and friendly, offering assistance whenever needed. My room was clean and quite spacious.
The breakfast variety was a little basic, though it was adequate. The eating area was also quite small and felt somewhat old-fashioned. I did find it slightly disappointing, especially considering the pictures I had seen beforehand.

Acceptable Stay in Central Location
central location kind staff malfunctioning toilet low pressure
The hotel's location provided great access to attractions. The staff was kind and provided good hospitality during breakfast , which I appreciated.
The toilet in one room did not work , which was an inconvenience. The shower in the other room had very low water pressure , , made showering difficult.
