The Royal Highland Centre, home to the 'Cars of the Stars' Motor Museum, is also located nearby. The stadium hosts most of Scotland's home test matches, the Scottish Hydro Electric Cup final, as well as Pro12 and Heineken Cup matches.

Located in Corstorphine, the Corstorphine Lodge Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Edinburgh Zoo and Murrayfield Stadium, and 15 minutes from Princes Street. The hotel is 7 km from Edinburgh Waverley station. The bus Airlink 100, with service to the city center and airport, stops in front of the hotel. Edinburgh Airport is 3.4 miles away, approximately a 10-minute drive. Easy 20 minute bus access into the center of Edinburgh town.
