Corstorphine Lodge Hotel comprises two Victorian villas with refurbished original features. Rooms include a large LCD TV with over 50 channels and a drinks tray with tea, coffee, and biscuits. Most rooms offer views of the gardens and the Pentland Hills. Each room has a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, blackout curtains, and tea/coffee facilities. Cots, irons, and ironing boards are available upon request. Rooms on the top floor are not easily accessible with large luggage.
Dining Choices
Breakfast is cooked to order with plenty of food options. There are a number of decent restaurants nearby including an excellent Bengali restaurant. A Wetherspoon pub, offering food and drinks, is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. A minimarket, pub, and pasta/pizza restaurant are located across the main road from the hotel.
Leisure and Activities
The hotel provides access to landscaped Victorian walled gardens. Edinburgh Zoo and Murrayfield Stadium are within a 5-minute drive. Turnhouse Golf Club is nearby. The Royal Highland Centre, home to the 'Cars of the Stars' Motor Museum, is also located nearby. The stadium hosts most of Scotland's home test matches, the Scottish Hydro Electric Cup final, as well as Pro12 and Heineken Cup matches.
