The stadium hosts most of Scotland's home test matches, the Scottish Hydro Electric Cup final, as well as Pro12 and Heineken Cup matches.

The hotel is 7 km from Edinburgh Waverley station. The bus Airlink 100, with service to the city center and airport, stops in front of the hotel. Edinburgh Airport is 3.4 miles away, approximately a 10-minute drive. Easy 20 minute bus access into the center of Edinburgh town.
